Tampere.ai website has been renewed. The new pages bring together artificial intelligence actors, know-how and activities in Tampere Region, Finland. More information about the international AI Finland 2020, held on 30 September in Tampere, is also available on the website.
The renewed tampere.ai website presents the actors of the Tampere AI ecosystem in a form of an ecosystem map. The map can be browsed by industry, and is constantly updated. Any Tampere-related AI actor can join it by leaving information on the form on the page.
The ecosystem map makes Tampere’s artificial intelligence actors and expertise visible. This strengthens Tampere’s reputation as an attractive AI competence center, and helps actors find suitable partners, says Minna Kinnunen, Senior Business Advisor from Business Tampere.
In addition to the ecosystem map, the website provides information on the actors behind the ecosystem, such as AI Hub Tampere, the Human-Centered AI Solutions for the Smart City (KITE) project and the Smart Tampere program. AI Hub Tampere offers companies in Tampere Region neutral and free-of-charge advice on the use and introduction of artificial intelligence. Counseling is provided through hands-on workshops, helpdesk discussions and joint pilot experiments.
One of AI Hub Tampere’s most popular services is a 1.5-hour helpdesk discussion, which can be held not only as a physical meeting but also as an online meeting or in the form of a telephone conference. Once the connection to AI Hub is established, the company can continue the 5-day pilot experiment, says Ritva Savonsaari, coordinator of AI Hub Tampere from the University of Tampere.
In addition to the AI actors in Tampere Region and the services of AI Hub Tampere, the site contains Tampere’s artificial intelligence news and events, such as AI Mornings and AI Finland 2020. The purpose of the site is to gather information related to Tampere’s artificial intelligence development in one place. Welcome!
