Beautiful Pispala and Pyynikki areas are one of the most famous city districts of Tampere. They both have many interesting destinations for visitors and residents, and now those can be easily found via new guidance application.
The stepping on the 310 steps of the Pyynikki stairs can be considered as preheating or as a grueling fitness test, just to find these legendary stairs first. Besides the stairs, Pyynikki and Pispala have many other treasures, including Cafe Pispala, Pumpkin House, Art Pispala and Emil Aaltonen Museum. Now the attractions and services of the ridge area have been compiled into a new guidance application that opens at https://tampere.visuon.io/pyynikki/.
The new guidance app makes it easy to find the beautiful scenery of Pyynikki and Pispala destinations conveniently located for tourists. The range of destinations extends from cultural sites for lunch, so you can spend the whole day there, Senior Specialist Turo Leppänen from Visit Tampere tells.
You can navigate in Pispala or Pyynikki using a browser application on your computer or mobile browser. In the app you see at one glance the locations and activities of the areas. Dive into the ground with 360VR and navigate easily by using the map view.
The guidance application has been developed as part of the Smart Tampere program’s 6Cities: Smart City Guidance project – in collaboration with Visit Tampere. The application was implemented by Visumo Oy and Architects MY Ltd.
