According to the Finnish Government’s instructions, all events of more than 500 people will be canceled by the end of May due to the Covid-19 virus. Smart Tampere canceled events:
- AI Finland 2020 (22.4.) – will be organised later in the autumn
- AI Hub workshop: Ethics regarding AI (13.3.) – removed later
- AI Morning: AI in Finance World and Conversational AI (19.3.) – removed later
- Earth Hour Tampere 2020 (28.3.)
New dates for the events will be announced as soon as possible via Smart Tampere channels.
According to the Finnish Foreign Ministry release, it will no longer change individual travel notes due to the coronavirus. According to the ministry, there is no reason to travel now. This recommendation will be taken into account in Smart Tampere operations such as staff travel and the reception of international delegations.
